Golden Globe not!
The Golden Globe awards made history this year. The event had no stars show up due to the ongoing writers strike.
The honors were announced in a low key media style at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Atonement won for best film this year.
Other winners included Daniel Day-Lewis who won best actor in the role of Oil Tycoon in the film : There Will Be Blood.
Sweeney Todd won best film in the musical and comedy role. While The star of the film Johnny Depp, won best actor in a musical or comedy.
British actress Julie Christie won the Golden Globe for best actress in her role in the film: Away from Her
Cate Blanchett also took an award as best supporting actress in the film I’m Not There
