Elvis’s Daughter to Sue The Daily Mail for Libel!
Lisa Marie plans to sue the Daily mail for libel over an article that talked about her weight!Elvis Presley’s only daughter Lisa Marie claims that the story about her weight, which was widely republished worldwide, has forced her to confirm she is expecting a baby.
According to her British lawyer Simon Smith the Daily Mail claims that she had an “unhealthy appetite” and is “growing like her dad” had left the star “deeply upset and offended”.
The pregnant singer, is also issuing a libel claim against the Daily Mail’s publishers, Associated Newspapers, at the High Court in London, She goes on to explain why she was forced to talk about her pregnancy.
“I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant,” said the singer.
