George Clooney Gives a Little Back!
George Clooney brought all the glamour of Hollywood to his home town of Maysville which hosted the opening of George Clooney’s new film “Leatherheads”!
The Oceans 11 star chose his father’s hometown of Maysville to launch the opening of Leatherheads. George Clooney was joined by his co-star Renee Zellweger on the Red Carpet.
George Clooney’s Dad Nick Clooney was also alongside his famous son.
It was the first film premier the town had seen since 1953, when George’s Clooney’s aunt, and singer Rosmery Clooney, brought The Stars and Singing to the town.
George Clooney told the local town paper:
“They really are family. If you’re from a small town you don’t really ever shake that. It’s the best support system and they’re always the biggest critics, which is kind of the fun of it.”
