Outpouring of Love and Support For Patrick Swazye!
The tragic news that Patrick Swayze is fighting for his life has brought an outpouring of love and support for the stricken star! Among one of the first to offer support to Patrick Swayze was Jennifer Grey, who was his co-star in Dirty Dancing, which made Patrick Swayze a Hollywood movie icon. She said:
“I’m shocked. If I saw him today I’d throw my arms around him and love him up,”
Movie Stars at a Hollywood fundraiser for Alzheimer’s disease had Patrick Swayze on their minds too. Movie Actress Lea Thompson co-starred with him in the 1984 movie Red Dawn. She says:
“I hope that, you know, he will be resilient. Us dancers, us dancers are tough.”
Whoopi Goldberg has also offered her support to Patrick Swayze. Talking on the TV Show The View on Thursday,
Woopie Goldberg says that Patrick Swayze is:
“a man I adore.”
She then went on to tell viewers about the movie Ghost,
“When I won my Academy Award, the only person I really thanked was Patrick because he said, ‘I’m not making this movie unless you put Whoopi Goldberg in it.’ He knew I was right for this part.”
Woopie Goldberg then looking directly into the camera, and said,
“Baby, as always we want you to know, we want you to feel better. We’ll talk soon, I hope.”
