The dashing RAF Officer and his Girlfriend Kate Middleton was a picture of pride at prince Williams Wings ceremony.
Kate Middleton’s appearance appeared to confirm that marriage is on the cards when Prince William leaves the military next year.
It was the very first time that Kate Middleton has joined prince William at a major official event since he graduated from Sandhurst in December 2006.
Kate Middleton’s invitation to RAF Cranwell to see prince William gain his wings was a closely guarded secret. A source said:
“It was very hush-hush. William was determined not to create a fuss. He did consider not inviting Kate but she is his girlfriend and he wanted her there. All the other graduates brought their partners, so why shouldn’t he? For what it is worth, she said she thought he looked gorgeous in his uniform.”
Prince William has always dreamed of learning to fly and his four-month attachment with the RAF, gave him the opportunity to fulfill his dream.
