Angelina Jolie Takes a Leaf out of Demis Roussos’s book of Fashion!
Pregnant with twins Angelina Jolie took a fashion lead from Demis Roussos for the Cannes red carpet yesterday!
Top Hollywood Couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were on the Cannes red carpet again last night for the premier of Angelina’s new film the ‘Changeling”.
Angelina went for a v-neck kaftan-style top, similar to those favored by Greek singer Demis Roussos
Talking about her new film Angelina Jolie said that she could not imagine anything worse than losing a child. The film that is Directed by Clint Eastwood is based on the real-life story of a working class single mother Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie), whose nine-year-old son Walter goes missing.
Five months later a child claiming to be Walter is returned and police are eager to bask in a public relations coup of reuniting mother and son. However there is a twist as Christine takes the boy home, she knows in her heart he is not Walter.
Angelina Jolie said:
“To lose a child, I can’t imagine anything worse, especially not knowing the fate of that child.”
Talking about her own painful loss Angelina said:
“I lost my own mother a few months before the film… My mother was very passive in many ways and very sweet, but when it came to her children, she was a lion.”
Angelina Jolie went on to say that Christine reminded her of her mother Marcheline Bertrand and it was a way of re-visiting her. Marcheline Bertrand died after a seven year battle with ovarian cancer in January 2007.
