In every actor’s journey, it is quite difficult to do all the things he needs to do. Sure a man can multitask but just imagine yourself, carrying that entire luggage, walking from here to there just to get water, wiping your sweat as you take your fan’s phone calls and as you do all those, you are also internalizing and memorizing your lines. Quite unimaginable, isn’t it?

However, since it is a bit impossible for a celebrity to be doing all those things, there would be another man to do all those. Of course, it will not be the talent’s manager or the talent scout. You call these men the celebrity’s personal assistant.

A celebrity personal assistant or just a personal assistant is the one who does what the public figure wants, like getting a glass of water, carrying his things, informing him about his schedule for the day, and taking notes about the things the celebrity needs to know. Basically, you can call a personal assistant or a personal assistant a secretary. However, there are times that the personal assistant is also the celebrity’s best friend, why? It is because a personal assistant knows exactly what is happening to the celebrity, whether it is a bad thing or a good thing, for the personal assistant is always around—just in case the celebrity needed anything—it is also the personal assistant’s responsibility to comfort the public figure in case grieving times occur to the actor—or actress for that matter.

In case you did not know, there are actually some personal assistants who are already working as a talent manager than an assistant because the talent just trusts them so much that they would want to have their personal assistants take care of the career they have built.

As you and I know, being a celebrity personal assistant is a fabulous job since you get to meet, greet, and be friends with your favorite stars. In becoming one of the top personal assistants around you have to gain a few qualities and you have to do a few things as you start climbing that ladder to success.

• First, you have to know what type of celebrity you would want to work with. As you know celebrities are human too and they have their own personality so just for the record you need to have a personality that is right for the actor’s personality and for you to match your attitude with his, you need to know what kind of a celebrity you would want to work with.
• You need to have some training to develop some skills. If you think that being a celebrity’s personal assistant is that easy, well think again. Being a personal assistant, you have to know a few things like first aid ad how mix this drink and that. Sure, it may be easy to carry this and that however, if you do not know some things about how to really do it, then you would have a problem, besides, getting a job would be difficult.
• Then, you have to have some training so that you would really know what to do. Knowing what to do is different from actually applying what you know. It is not enough to have them in your mind; you need to have your body know it too.
• Then find a job opening. This part is quite an obvious part since you did no study that long just for nothing.
• Join an agency and an organization. In this way, you could help others and you could have an assurance that you could have a job if ever that talent you are working with throws you out.
