Dustin Hoffman Tie less!
Dustin Hoffman had to borrow a tie from a reporter yesterday to get into the London Film Premier of Kung Fu Panda yesterday!
You would think that top Hollywood star like Dustin Hoffman would have a tie for a film premiere. However Dustin Hoffman turned up without one at the red carpet Film premier of Kung Fu Panda in London’s Leicester Square.
Not one to be put of Dustin Hoffman soon remedied the situation by nabbing a tie from one showbiz reporter Matt Smith. Dustin Hoffman borrowed the reporter’s blue tie to wear around his own neck, but Smith didn’t seem to mind, even helping Hoffman to straighten his lapel afterwards.
Talking about the film Hoffman told how he thought his career was over when he was asked to voice a character for ‘Kung Fu Panda’. Dustin Hoffman feared his illustrious movie-making days had come to an end when he was approached about lending his voice to a red panda called Shifu in Kung Fu Panda.
Dustin Hoffman said:
‘I got involved with it reluctantly. I realized that I had to put myself in the director’s hands. ‘Had this film flopped I would have been pointing fingers at them! But we were lucky it was well-received because it could have been the end for me.’
Even though Dustin Hoffman has done a voice over for a movie he should still own a tie for a movie premier!
